Darvyadi Kashaya is a concentrated decoction prepared out of herbal ingredients, which consist of water soluble active principles.
Indication: Useful in the management of Leucorrhoea, menorrhagia and dysmenorrhoea.
Dose: Kashaya 5 to 15 ml along with 15 – 45 ml of water twice daily before food or as directed by physician.
Side effects: This preparation contains Bhallataka, so better to avoid in patients who are allergic to bhallataka, Pittaprakriti persons and in summer season. Over dose may induce gastric irritation. Use this medicine under medical supervision.

Method of preparation of Darvyadi Kashaya: Herbal ingredients (coarse powder) 1 part boiled in 16 parts of water and reduced to 4 part.
Method of Storage:Stored in airtight container in dry place.

Agni karma: Deepana
