Panchatikta Ghrita Guggulu
Panchatikta Ghrita Guggulu is a guggulu based tablet preparation, prepared out of herbal ingredients.
Indication: Skin diseases, non healing ulcers, piles, fistula, abscess, diabetes, lymphadenitis, asthma, joint pain.
Dose : 500mg to 1 grams Two times a day after food along with water or adjuvant(Anupana) as per the diseases.
Side effects: No known side effects, Over dose may induce gastric irritation. Use this medicine under medical supervision.

Method of preparation of Kashayam: Prepare the kashaya by boiling kashaya dravyas with 13 liters of water reduced to ¼ th part. kashaya filtered and mixed with fine powder of churna dravyas, Shuddha(Processed)guggulu and ghee. then heated till it attain the solid consistency. Prepare the tablets of 500mg or 1 grams and dry under shade.
Method of Storage: Stored in airtight container in dry place.
Ayurvedic Properties:
Roga karma: Vatarogas, sandhi asthi majjagata kusta, nadivrana, arbuda, bhagandara, gandamala, jathru urdwajatarogas, gulma, arsha, prameha, rajayakshma, aruchi, shwasa, peenasa, kasa, shosha, hrdroga, pandu, galavidradhi and vatarakta.
Dosha karma: Tridoshahara.
Agni karma: Deepana, Pachana.
Other karmas: Srotoshodana, Malanulomaka.
