Indication: Useful in Rheumatoid arthritis, low back ache and sciatica.

Dose : 500 mg to 1 grams, Two times a day after food along with Hot water or adjuvant(Anupana) as per the diseases.

Side effects: No known side effects, Over dose may induce gastric irritation. Use this medicine under medical supervision.

Method of preparation of Kashayam: Coarse powder of haritaki, vibitaki and amalaki boiled in 3 liters of water and reduce to 750ml.  Filter the kashayam then add eranda taila, shoddita gandhaka and remaining ingredients( Fine powder). These mixture pounded till it becomes soft mass. Prepare the tablets of 500 mg or 1 gram and dry under shade.

Method  of Storage: Stored in airtight container in dry place.

Ayurvedic Properties of Shiva Guggulu :

Roga karma: Amavata, katishula, gridrasi and kroshtuka shirsha.

Dosha karma: Vatakaphahara

Agni karma: Deepana and Pachana.
