Nimbadi churna is a mixture of 19 types of herbal powder along with salt and kshara used in skin diseases.

Indication: Skin disease, urticaria, eczema, vitiligo, psoriasis, non healing ulcers rheumatoid arthrit, swelling, liver and spleen disorders.

Dose :  2 to 4 grams, twice daily before or after food before or after food as directed by physician.

Adjuvent( Anupana): Along with guduchi (Tinospora cordifolia) decoction.

Side effects: Heavy dose may induce mild gastric irritation, Used with caution in hypertensive  patients as it contain salt.

Ayurvedic properties of Nimbadi churna:

Roga karma: Vatarakta, shwithra, audumbara kusta, kota, charmadala, sidma, pama, vipluta, kandu, vicharchika, dadrumandala, kittiba, amavatha, ama shotha, udara, pliha, gulma, pandu, kamala, kandu and vrana.

Dosha karma: Tridoshahara, especially kaphapittahara.

Agni karma: Deepana, pachana.

Other karma: Raktadushtihara, lekhana and srothoshodana.
