Nasika Churna is a mixture of herbal ingredients, used for upper respiratory system related complaints.

Indication: Allergic rhinitis, chronic rhinitis, migraine, sinusitis and nasal congestion.

Method of use: Pinch of powder inhaled through the nose.

Side effects: No known side effects, Used under medical supervision.

Method of preparation: The above ingredients 1 to 12 finely powdered and triturated along with lemon juice and dried under shade, similarly trituration carried along with coconut water and rose water and dried under shade.  At last mixed with karpoora, dhupikasara and mrigamada.

Method  of Storage: Stored in airtight container in dryplace.

Shelf life period: Around 6 month.

Ayurvedic properties:

Roga karma: Dusta pinas, jadya, kampa, suryavarta, shiroruja, sarvajathrugata rogas.

Dosha karma: Tridoshahara mainly Kaphahara.

Other karma: Lekhana, teekshna, srotoshodana.
