Panchasama churna is a mixture of 4 types of herbal powder along with salt used in digestive system related complaints.
Indication: Flatulence or bloating, loss of appetite, pain abdomen and piles.
Dose : 1 to 4 grams, three daily before or after food as directed by physician.
Adjuvent( Anupana): Along with warm water.
Side effects: Heavy dose may induce mild gastric irritation. Used with caution in hypertensive patients as it contain salt.

Roga karma: Adhmana, arsha, shula, amavata and udara roga.
Dosha karma: Vatakaphahara.
Agni karma: Deepana, pachana.
Other karma: Vatanulomaka and srothoshodana.
