Aloe vera
Aloe vera is the miraculous herb with multi dimensional health benefits. The medicinal use of aloe vera was well known from centuries. The reference of medicinal and cosmetic uses of aloe vera available in Indian system of medicine(Ayurveda) 5000 BC and Egyptian in 6000BC.
The leaves of aloe vera contain gel like substance which is having anti inflammatory, anti microbial, anti oxidant and wound healing properties. The aloe vera is safe for both internal and external use.
The fresh plant is best for use, but commercial aloe vera products like Liquid, gel or dried one can be used.
How to extract gel from Aloe vera Leaves?
- Cut the leaves from the base of aloe vera plant and allow the cut leaves to stand for fifteen minutes for the yellow latex to drain. Then wash the leaves to remove latex.
- Cut the both sides of the leaves which contain thorns. Then peel the skin from one side of the leaves with knife or blade.
- Scrape out the clear gel with spoon or knife.
- Aloe vera for Dry skin:
- Aloe vera best natural moisturizer, its gel get absorb quickly into the skin, make the skin smooth and prevents from dryness.
- Method of Use: Rub the inner sides of cut leaf on skin or Apply aloe vera gel directly over face. Allow to absorb into the skin completely then rinse with warm water.
