Amalakyadi churna is a powder of 4 herbal ingredients and rocka salt, used in the management digestive system related problems.
Indication: Used in condition like loss of appetite, distaste, indigestion and fever.
Dose : 2 to 6 grams, two to three times daily before or after food as directed by physician.
Adjuvent( Anupana): warm water.
Side effects: May induce gastric irritation in higher dose, Used with caution in hypertensive patients as it contain salt.

Ayurvedic properties of Amalakyadi churna:
Roga karma: Sarvajwara, aruchi and agnimandya.
Dosha karma: Kaphahara.
Agni karma: Deepana, Pachana.
Other karma: Vatanulomaka, vibandahara, srotoshodaka.
