Amritha guggulu is a guggulu based tablet preparation, prepared out of herbal ingredients.
Indication: Rheumatoid arthritis, piles, fistula, skin diseases, loss of appetite, gastritis, non healing ulcer abcess and obesity.
Dose : 500mg to 1 grams Two times a day after food along with water or adjuvant(Anupana) as per the diseaseas.
Side effects: No known side effects, over dose may induce gastric irritation. Use this medicine under medical supervision.

Method of preparation of Kashayam: Prepare the kashaya by boiling kashaya dravyas with 13 liters of water reduced to ¼ th part. Then kashaya filtered and mixed with Shuddha(Processed)guggulu and heated till it attain the solid consistency. Then add fine powder of churna dravyas. Prepare the tablets of 500mg or 1grams and dry under shade.
Method of Storage: Stored in airtight container in dry place.
Ayurvedic Properties:
Roga karma: Amlapitta, vatarakta, kusta, agnimandya, gudagatavikaras, dustavrana, prameha, amavata, bhagandara, adyavata and shwayatu.
Dosha karma: Kaphapittahara.
Agni karma: Deepana.
Other karmas:Srotoshodana, Malanulomaka, kledahara, pakahara, rasa rakta and medodushtihara.
