Avipathi churnam is a mixture of 11 dry herbal powder along with sugar used in the management digestive system related complaints.

Indication: Gastritis, indigestion, sour belching, flatulence, stomatitis, constipation and other pitta aggravated conditions like burning sensation of body, excessive sweating, burning micturation and skin diseases.

Dose :  ½ to 1 teaspoon twice daily along with honey or water, before or after food as directed by physician. For constipation 8 to 15 grams with water night after food

Adjuvent( Anupana): Honey or water.

Side effects: Heavy dose may induce increased loose stools ( easily manageable by having 1 to 2 glass of buttermilk along with meals), used with caution in diabetic patients as it contain sugar.
