Balachaturbhadra churnam is a mixture of 4 types of herbal powder used in the management of diseases commonly seen in childhood.

Indication: Fever, diarrhoea, indigestion, vomiting, cough, cold, athama and loss of appetite .

Dose :  500mg  to 1 grams, three times a day,  before or after food as directed by physician.

Adjuvent( Anupana): Along with honey.

Side effects: Heavy dose may induce mild gastric irritation, used under medical supervision.

Roga karma: jwara, athisara, shwasa, kasa and chardhi.

Dosha karma: tridoshahara, mainly kaphahara.
