Gokshuradi guggulu is a Guggulu based tablet preparation, prepared out of herbal ingredients.
Indication: Urinary tract infection, dysuria, renal calculi, burning micturation, osteo arthritis, leucchorea and benign prostate hypertrophy.
Dose : 500 mg to 1 grams Two times a day after food along with water or adjuvant(Anupana) as per the disease.
Side effects: No known side effects,Over dose may induce gastric irritation. Use this medicine under medical supervision.

Method of preparation of Kashayam: Prepare the kashaya by boiling kashaya dravyas with 10.24 liters of water reduced to 1/4th part. Then kashaya filtered and mixed with Shuddha(Processed)guggulu and heated till it attain the solid consistency. Then add fine powder of churna dravyas. Prepare the tablets of 500 mg or 1 grams and dry under shade.
Method of Storage: Stored in airtight container in dry place.
Ayurvedic Properties:
Roga karma:Prameha, pradara, mutra kracchra, mutaghata, vatarakta, vataroga, shukradosha and ashmari.
Dosha karma: Vatapittahara.
Other karmas: Mutrala, rasayana, medohara, srotoshodhana, kledahara, shophahara.
