Hutabhugadi churnam is a mixture of herbal powder and salt used in the management of Digestive system related problems.

Indication: Loss of appetite, indigestion, oedema, anaemia and piles.

Dose :  2 to 4 grams, three times daily before or after food before or after food as directed by physician.

Adjuvent( Anupana): Takra(Buttermilk) or  warm water.

Side effects: May induce gastric irritation in higher dose, Used with caution in hypertensive patients as it contain salt.

Ayurvedic properties of Hutabhugadi churnam:

Roga karma: Pandu, arshas, agnimandya and shopha.

Dosha karma: Vatakaphahara.

Agni karma: Deepana, pachana.

Other karma: Vatanulomaka, ruchya, shophahara, krimighna and srotoavarodahara
